The adjustment of the guide plate of the CNC centerless grinder can be said to be a basic skill. The adjustment of the guide plate and the adjustment of the angle are coordinated. Below is a quick adjustment method suitable for beginners.

Main structural characteristics of CNC centerless grinding machine:

 

1) The high rigidity and high stability bed body adopts an integral granite structure. Due to the high damping, small vibration, and excellent thermal stability of granite, it can ensure high rigidity and high stability of the grinder.

 

2) The workbench adopts an integral granite structure, and a high rigidity and high-precision large plane closed static pressure guide rail has been developed based on the traditional closed static pressure guide rail to achieve large stroke, smooth, and reliable reciprocating motion of the workbench. The workbench is driven by SIEMENS linear motors, and in order to prevent the movement of the linear motors from affecting the tabletop, an independent static pressure guide rail is specially designed for the linear motors. The motion state of the worktable is closed-loop controlled by the HEIDENHAIN grating system, ensuring that the worktable has high-precision and fast response motion characteristics.

 

3) The columns, slides, and beams can control the deformation of the machine caused by heat, and are made of granite. The lateral displacement slide of the grinding wheel is placed on a fixed crossbeam, and the vertical motion drag plate for installing the grinding wheel frame is placed on the lateral displacement slide. Both lateral displacement and vertical motion are achieved by using SIEMENS servo motors to directly drive high-precision ball screws, with HEIDENHAIN grating position feedback. The guide rails for the lateral displacement slide and the vertical motion drag plate also use liquid static pressure guide rails. In addition, a micro feed mechanism is equipped on the vertical motion trailer, which can achieve a micro feed of 0.1 μ m for the grinding wheel holder. In order to reduce the deformation of the crossbeam caused by the self weight and lateral displacement of the grinding wheel carriage slide, an unloading device (unloading crossbeam) is installed directly above the crossbeam. Used to bear the majority of the self weight of the grinding wheel carriage slide, and achieve synchronization between the unloading device and the lateral displacement of the grinding wheel slide through HEIDENHAIN grating position feedback, thereby minimizing the impact of beam deformation on grinding processing.

 

4) The grinding wheel holder has developed a wide speed range, high rigidity, and high-precision grinding wheel hydrostatic spindle system to achieve high rigidity and high-precision rotary motion of the grinding wheel. The grinding wheel shaft is supported by liquid hydrostatic bearings, and SIEMENS has a built-in spindle motor that is forcibly cooled by coolant. The grinding wheel spindle is equipped with a grinding wheel balancing device, and the supporting management control program can continuously monitor the condition of the grinding wheel in the cycle and immediately compensate for any possible imbalance.

 

5) The measuring system machine is equipped with a laser interferometer as an in-situ measurement system for machining accuracy. Through the movement of the machine table and the lateral movement of the measuring carriage, the lens of the laser interferometer can scan all machining areas. When the machine tool is grinding, the measuring beam can move outside the machining range.
