The "difficult and complicated problems" of the Centerless Grinding machines

   The machine tool factory has analyzed the common problems of centerless grinders and proposed solutions to assist more manufacturers of centerless grinders in solving the troubles encountered in daily use.

 

  1、 Leave scars on the surface after polishing

  Reason: The hardness of the control board is too high, and small pieces of grinding debris or grinding wheels are attached or melted on the surface of the control board.

  Countermeasure: The control board should be changed to soft cooling water with soluble cutting oil.

 

  2、 Spiral shaped traces with equal gaps occur

  Reason: Encountering the edge of the grinding wheel, poor adjustment of the guide plate, high dressing speed, diamond damage and wear, and loose diamond persistence are all reasons for the occurrence of spiral marks such as gaps in the centerless grinding machine.

  Countermeasure: The edge of the grinding wheel should be tapered to make the guide plate parallel. Reduce the dressing speed, decrease the feed rate, change the contact surface of the diamond or communicate with the diamond holder stabilizer.

  3、 Equal or unequal gaps with fine lines

  Reason: Poor repair and external oscillation.

  Countermeasure: Start trimming from the edge of the grinding wheel and maintain a certain oscillation speed at the edge.

 

  4、 Deep and irregular traces

  Reason: Loosening of the grinding wheel.

  Countermeasure: Insert the lining between the cam and the grinding wheel and stabilize it.

  5、 Oscillation

  Reason: Loosening of the installation screws and imbalance of the grinding wheel.

  Countermeasure: Reassess and distribute the load evenly to level the platform and regain balance.

 

 

  6、 Self-excited oscillation

  Reason: Too high heart height, too large support blade viewpoint, too large support blade viewpoint, too thin support blade, poor installation of support blade, twists and turns of support blade, large grinding amount, poor selection of sanding, poor roundness of sanding, loose grinding wheel installation platform, loose spindle, external oscillation.

  Countermeasures: Lower the center of gravity, reduce the viewing angle, add thickness, shrink the clamping screw, correct the support blade, reduce the number of grinding additions, negotiate with the grinding wheel manufacturer, try adjusting before and after balancing, lock the screw equally, re lock the screw, adjust the spindle of the adjustment wheel, re lock the AC diamond of the persistence device, and isolate external oscillations.

 

  7、 Cannot obtain true roundness

  Reason: Too low heart height, too small support blade viewpoint, high grinding wheel hardness, high grinding pressure, large rough grinding amount, loose adjustment wheel, insufficient cooling water (when grinding hollow objects), poor correction.

  Countermeasures: Improve progress, increase perspective, enhance propulsion speed, use sharp diamonds to increase correction speed, reduce feed rate and perform * grinding at a high propulsion speed, re lock screws to adjust the spindle of the adjustment wheel, add coolant at good contact points, and re correct.

 

  8、 Middle high or middle low

  Reason: Poor adjustment of the guide plate.

  Countermeasure: Take the guide plate parallel, reduce the tilt of the adjustment wheel axle basket, and add the viewpoint of the adjustment wheel trimming device.
